Positioned in the southern portion of Ibaragi Prefecture and about 60 kilometers north of metropolitan Tokyo. To the West is the purple peak Mount Tsukuba, and nearby extend the tranquil blue waters of Lake Kasumigaura. Surrounded by natural beauty, the Ibaragi Factory has undergone recent refitting with plans to expand the site as a dedicated factory for the production of biaxially oriented polypropylene film.
