The Nagoya Factory is positioned beside the Jinmokuji Inter Change of the Higashi Meihan Expressway running into the western portion of Aichi Prefecture. Factory construction and simultaneous production of smoothly planed melamine boards began in 1961. In 1967, the factory advanced into the field of polypropylene film as well. Beginning with the production of unoriented and biaxially oriented films, the Factory has been operating as a base factory of Futamura Chemical.
